Full Professor 

 

Yan Kestens is a full professor at the School of Public Health at the University of Montreal (ESPUM) and a researcher at the Centre for Public Health Research (CReSP). His research aims to improve our understanding of how urban change impacts population health, considering converging objectives of sustainability, improved quality of life, and reduced health inequalities. Yan develops new tools to collect and analyze spatial data and processes, including wearable sensors and map-based online questionnaires.
